GOLLUM1138- Hey everyone, Steven here and I got a report for Star Wars Weekends at MgM week 5. My dad (who was nice enough to go with me) and I stayed at the All-Star Music Resort and checked in Friday afternoon. After checking in we went down to DownTown Disney in an attempt to waste time and get some dinner in the process. I figured it was easier to buy some of the things I was looking for (the disney exclusive star wars pins etc) at DT Disney instead of at the park so I wouldn't have to carry them all around so I spent almost $300 (wow, I am a loser) on stuff that night but I did manage to get all the resort pins (except Zam) and a few Star Tours figures :) After we ate at Bongos, we went back to the hotel and put on 'From Russia with Love' and I fell asleep halfway through it.

The next morning I woke up around 6 so I could eat and shower before the bus to MGM came at 7:15. We took the bus over to the park (which is a nice advantage to staying at the resort...no parking problems) and stood in line to get in. At 8:00 us Disney Resorters got into the park only to be stoped on Hollywood ave in front of that pond thing with the Dino Monstar thing in it. Around 8:30 we were allowed to get in line for our autograph wristbands...left for Temeura (Jango Fett) Morrison and right for Michonne (Aurra Sing) Bourriague. It was going to be impossible to get both, so I picked right to see the lovely Michonne.

After I got my wristband (number 3!) around 9:30 I started wandering around the park and got a couple pictures with Star Wars Characters and went on Star Tours. I went in to see the "Who Wants to be a Millionare, Star Wars Edition" at 10:30 which was fun but it got out late and I missed the parade :( ohh well. The questions were really easy and I got like number 5 and 7 on the top 10 list! Woot woot.

After walking around more and going on some rides (yes, Star Tours again...I am such a loser), I stood in line to meet Michonne. When she came out with her 3 model friends I had to pull myself together. I was so excited to meet her and holy hell, she was georgus! Well after talking to her, thanking her and getting a hug (SCORE!) I went over to Temeura's line because the Disney Cast Members said that he may sign some non-wristband peoples stuff. He went through all his people and then was rushed off (he had to get ready for the Q&A session). I again wandered around Star Tours area until the Q&A session which I went to at 2:00. It was really good, Michonne came out first and discussed how she was cast, the Aurra costume and even how her character has grown in the comics. She was very delightful and I really enjoyed her session. I said Michonne was great, and she was, but Temeura was hilarious! He came running out with a lightsaber and was all into the interview. He even sung a song and did a native New Zeland dance (which was funny but really cool). It was great, they showed (up on big screens) Jango falling off of the platform on Kamino and then him dancing with an umbrella, very funny. Also, big episode 3 spoiler news...according to Temeura, Jango and Aurra are going to hook up and have a singing and dancing number, nice!

I had some time to kill so I went around shopping (yah, it was Fathers Day the next day so I figured I may as well knock out that obstacle) until 3ish when I went back to stand and be an optimistic hopeful and try to get Temeura's autograph. When he came up this other guy and I asked for his autograph (before he sat down and all) and he signed our stuff, he rocks! I was never a really big Jango fan (he killed my love Zam Wesell for God sake) but after seeing Temeura, I am a new convert!

I didn't have anything to do until the trivia trials so I went to the Indiana Jones thing and Star Tours again and walked around some more. At 6ish I went over to the trivia thing where I ran into a few people I knew and so we hung out. The questions (in the begining that is) were really easy..."3263827 is the ID number for what on the Death Star?", "Where do you find a "more wreched hive of scum and villiany?" and then the hard one (which eliminated all but 3 people) "How many swoops are in the Swoop gang outside Mos Espa?" I guessed 8 and was wrong :( ohh well, my friend won so I was content. After the trivia we went back on Star Tours and bought more Star Wars stuff then went back to the hotel to eat food and go swimming. Overall I had a good time and was thrilled that I got both autographs and all that jazz. Bottom line, Temeura rocks and Michonne is the epitomy of loveliness!
