Episode 1 DVD is coming!
Uk's "DVD Weekly" featured a cover story on The Phantom Menace DVD release. The disk will feature 3 different versions of the movie: The theatrical release, a version without special effects and a version w/ deleted scenes and better effects. It will also have the soundtrack, a documentary on the making of EP1 and a making of EP2 feature. The release of the DVD is due out for Oct 16th, 2001.

The American Film Institute 100 Years... 100 Thrills aired with Harrison Ford as host. Star Wars was ranked 27th. Other George Lucas films in the top 100 were Jurassic Park, Close Encounters of the third Kind and Raiders of the Lost Ark. The Public's Top Ten were as Follows: 1. STAR WARS 2.
