Cellblock 1138 Issue 2

News:

The Episode II Select Photo is....
OBI-WAN KENOBI

Obi-Wan is now getting the "Jedi Master" look we see Qui-Gon and
Obi-Wan (in the classic trilogy). Again this picture is from the Star Wars Union.

Also this poster is all over the net.
I am 99.9999999% sure it is a fake becuase if Mr. Lucas made it, it
would be in better quality without the big glare on it. It also looks too much
like the Episode I poster but it looks cool any way. So here it is.

Last and not least Hasbro released a list of
up-coming figures, they are as follows: (along with my opinion on them)
*Han Solo Death Star escape (probably with the Stormtrooper belt)
*Luke Skywalker X-Wing (removeable hat)
*Qui Gon Jinn Jedi Armor (probably like the maul with armor)
*Sandtrooper (maybe, hopefully articulated like the Commtech stormtrooper)
*Darth Vader battle damage (the one that was going to be with the CD that
got cancelled)
*Princess Leia in military dress (my guess is her dress at the end of
ESB)
*Darth Maul Sith Apprentice (dumb gold armor)
*Chewbacca mechanic (with goggles and some tool, a hydrospanner i
think)
*Sabe decoy queen
*Ketwol (Character in ANH special edition who took Lak Sivark's place
in the Cantina)
*Bespin guard (Hopefuly a better sculpt than the one with the Carbon
Freezing Chamber)
*Duros (Fan Choice Figure)
*Squid face (a.k.a Teesk)
*Lando Bespin (New resculpt)
*Nute Gunray Hologram

Articulation:
Queen Amidala: Head, Arms, Waist, Legs, Knees
Qui-Gon Jinn: Head, Arms, Elbows, Wrist, Waiste, Legs, Knees
Package: Like the other Amidala packs but 2 times as wide and there is no flap to cover the
front window.
Coolest Part:
Amidala: Hasbro made a really good Amidala, her costume is really awsome and
detailed.
Qui-Gon Jinn: The best part of Qui-Gon is probably his size and costume. He is 14"
tall and has an awesome set of jedi robes.
Least Coolest Part:
Amidala: What was Hasbro thinking, Amidala's Blaster can't fit in her hand, I
use rubber bands to hold in mine, it is so stupid! Thats about it.
Qui-Gon Jinn: I don't know where to start. His size is cool but it makes him look
goofy when he is next to other toys than Amidala, Darth Maul doesn't even
reach his shoulders! His hood is way oversize and doesn't fit over his head
right. He has the WORST looking face , his eyes are small and narrow, he has a
HUGE forehead and a giraffe neck.
Overall:
Queen Amidala: 5 out of 5 stars
Qui-Gon Jinn: 1 1/2 out of 5 stars

Steal of the Week: The "steal of the week" is ...
The 12" Greedo Action Figure.
Greedo is only $12.99 at KBKIDS.COM. I personaly do not own this 12"
guy (one of the few I can say that to) but I am planing on ordering
him in the near future.
