News:
The Star Wars Union has posted a few character previews for Episode
II. I will post a new one every Issue. This weeks character is Padme'
Amidala. It is rumored that Natalie Portman's characters name is Padme' not Amidala
and that she (Padme') is the new senator for Naboo, but as I said those are
just rumors!

Also Courascant Toys has posted a new Picture of the Jar Jar Binks Tatooine action figure. It looks pretty cool, I will probably end up buying this one. You can see that in the
picture Jar Jar has a COMMTECH chip but as we all know they are no longer in
production so Jar Jar will have a Jedi Force File. Jar Jar also has a
folded up pit droid that looks neat, even if it is bright orange .

Select Picture: This weeks "Select Picture" is
Boba Fett on Colud City over Bespin, after having Han Solo, frozen in
Carbonite, loaded abord his ship the Slave I.

Coolest Part: This is the first Darth Vader that is really tall, and
the cloth capes look "impressive, most impressive"
Least Coolest Part: Darth Vaders arms are in a strange position and his
COMMTECH lines sound really bad!

I have this 2 pack in my collection and I bought it for almost $70 at

Wookie Reader: The book focused on for Issue 1 is on Kevin J Anderson's
book Darksaber.

Luke returns home with Han Solo, hoping to make contact with Obi-Wan
Kenobi. Instead, what they find is disturbing news: the Hutts, criminal warlords of the galaxy, are building a secret superweapon, a reconstruction of the original Death Stars superlaser,
to be called Darksaber. This planet-crushing power will be in the ruthless
hands of Durga, a creature without conscience or mercy. There is also trouble on
another front, Admiral Daala is very much alive and in league with
the Pellaeon, is marshing forces to destroy the Rebels. Soon they and
Luke will face the ultimate test of power-one in
which all the temptations of the dark side of the force beckon....

This really is a great book, if you have access to it defiantly pick it
up and read it!
